The nutation disk flowmeter is most suitable for measuring the flow rate and volume of medium to low viscosity fluids.
Measurement principle:
The nutation disk flowmeter is a positive displacement flowmeter. The top and bottom of the instrument room are tapered. The ball bearing holds the valve disc between the two inner rings. When the flow enters the metering chamber, the disk undergoes nutation motion. The complete separation between the inlet and outlet chamber volumes is always achieved through a dedicated disc diameter line. The inlet and outlet parts of the measuring room are separated by partitions. The positioning rod forces the valve disc to nutate around the central axis of the valve chamber, thereby driving the transmission magnet.
